Wonderful Wednesday News

Today, I'm linking up with Digital: Divide and Conquer and Third Grade Galore to tell about a win, a loss, and a thing of cost.

Win!  Last night (Tuesday) I tricked my husband into joining Weight Watchers.  I told him that I had a $20 gift card to Marshall's (which is true), but we could stop in at Weight Watchers on the way to get the information.  Well, we signed up, and amazingly, we are still in the computer because we are lifetime members from a lifetime ago - it seems like it any way.  He needs to lose 30 pounds, and I would like to lose 10 pounds, but he won't go unless I go so we're on the right track.  Now we just need to lose some weight.

Also, I found a perfect blog template from:  Custom Blog Designs at this web address:
http://cbd-ooak.blogspot.com/

This blog designer makes one of a kind premade blogs for $25, and I happened to find a watermelon one that seemed like it was made for me - I'm so excited to get a "real" blog template.  If you're looking for a blog template, check out Diana's other products - she has some great templates, and she's very efficient.

Loss:  I can't include any weight - maybe next week, now that I'm in Weight Watchers.

My beautiful new Weber grill is still in limbo at Home Depot. It was supposed to be done a week ago, but after being transferred twice and on hold for 10 minutes (at least), I found out that the grill is not ready to be picked up - definitely a loss of time...luckily I'm patient.

Cost:  I just paid over $800 to take a 3 credit class during the first full week of August.  The class is on making math manipulatives.  I'll be sure to write all about the class in my blog.

That's all for this week,
Susan

  1. Susan,

thanks for linking up. That's not too bad for a 3 credit course...besides over time it pays for itself.
I did WeightWatchers a few years ago and actually lost so lbs. It's not too bad (from a guys perspective). Plus now they've changed how they do all the points too.

    thanks
    matt
