Hello!  I found a new Currently Link-Up with:

Gathering:  I'm really into battery operated candles with a timer.  It's been so dark and cold, and these candles really make my house feel cozy.

 


Making:  I've been making more directed drawing with my students, and we're both loving it!  Last week we made a drawing of the Mayflower and incorporated many facts into our drawings!

Sipping:   If I could, I would have warm water with the juice of half a lemon every morning.  When I was on vacation between Christmas and New Year's, I was doing this, and it's just so relaxing to sip this while catching up on the news.

Resolving:  I really want to keep my desk and home neat and free from clutter.  I tend to make "piles" of stuff, and then I get overwhelmed.  I'd love to put everything away right away.  If I didn't have to work, my house would be much neater!

 Odometer Milestone

 I drive around in a 2005 Honda Pilot that has LOTS of character!  Last Monday, my odometer read:

 Luckily, I was able to pull over to the side of the highway to snap this picture!

 Watermelon Blanket and Gifts

 I'm just loving watermelons more all the time, especially when I receive watermelon-themed gifts:

This blanket was made by the very talented Purple Alligator, and you should definitely check out her store on Etsy.  Right now she's on break for the holidays.

Fun Pins!

I'm always on the look-out for unique jewelry and gifts.  Here's another option from Hibou Designs:

The owner of Hibou Designs is originally from France and now located in Boston.  The lace on the cat pin was French lace that her grandmother gave her.  Of course, I love the penguin, too!

Sweetgreen

If you love salad, then you need to check out Sweetgreen!  There are so many salad options, and all the fixings are locally sourced, fresh and healthy.  My current favorite salad is the Apple, Pear and Cheddar.  It's definitely worth checking out if you're trying to eat healthier in the New Year!
