Currently Make A Wish March! What are you wishing for?

Happy Read Across America and Hump Day!  This is a major miracle!  I am posting twice in one week!  I am so delighted today to link up with Anne in Residence for:

Collecting

Whenever I go to Whole Foods, I check out the plants.  I have been buying these Money Trees for $16.99 which is a great price.  I was just researching them online, and they are much more expensive.  Plus, it's a miracle when anything is affordable and well-priced in Whole Foods.  I buy these plants and give them as gifts when someone loses a family member or when someone needs some good fortune.  After all, who doesn't need more luck or money?

Craving

I crave comfort food, especially since winter came crashing back after one day of 60 degree weather.  I bought some wide egg noodles in Job Lot, and the thought of having them with butter, made me so happy.  Here are the exact noodles I bought:
Picturing

Now that we just had 10 inches of snow, I can picture the changing seasons because I know spring will arrive so soon.  Also, this week, I will be reading this book to my students as part of our Fountas & Pinnell reading program.

Playing

Wordle and Spellie (the kid's version)!  When I first heard about Wordle on the radio, I knew my husband would love it because he's always playing Word Cookies.  Well, now I have to play every day, too.  I recently heard the NY Times bought Wordle for a tremendous amount of money.  Wow!

Wishing

I really wish and hope that I keep blogging more regularly.  I find it very rewarding to share and record my thoughts.  This way I can remember what has been happening in my life.  I find that, now that I am 61 years old, I tend to forget rather quickly.  I especially would like to remember the books I read!

Well, that is all for now.  As always, I appreciate you visiting the blog.  If you connected with anything in this post, please leave me a comment!  Wishing you all good luck, health and happiness in March!

  1. I haven't heard of the money tree, but it is a pretty plant and what a creative gift to give to someone. Comfort foods are always something to be craved, especially when it is cold outside! Have a good day!

    1. Thank you! I have actually made the noodles, and they are really good! The bag looked so small, but there are actually 16 ounces inside!

  2. That is so nice that you "collect" trees in order to give them away! And noodles with butter sounds like a perfect comfort food! Yum:)

  5. I'm belatedly catching up on my "Currently" posts. Those money trees look very tropical. I need more houseplants in my life!
