Hello there!  It's time to link up with Doodle Bugs Teaching for:

Our class enjoyed a delightful Fall Festival Breakfast Party on Friday:

In the top left picture are Fiona's, Reese's and Bryan's Moms who were exceptional hostesses, servers and cleaners!  Thanks, ladies for all the help.  Plus, check out all that healthy food!  On the right is Reese's Mom who made these adorable banana ghosts.  The bottom photo shows the kids enjoying the party.

This week we finished reading our interviews about each other so our bulletin board is complete:

Starting in the top right and going clockwise:  Mia, Mrs. Krevat, Bryan, Fiona and Matthew.

Change is Simple - non-profit educational group - came on Wednesday to educate us about endangered animals:

First, the kids picked cards of endangered animals and thought of how they were similar to their chosen animal.  Then Kelly (top right) told us about endangered animals.  Then the kids "ran around the world" (see bottom left picture).  After that, the kids got into pairs and wrote about their animals on chalkboards (which was very exciting).  Then they shared their finding.  Overall, this was a fun and engaging time.

We wrapped up our Science unit on the Water Cycle!

Now I have another Anchor Chart to add to my vast collection!

On Friday, we started learning about Native Americans.  I'm so excited to learn about the Wampanoag because they were truly resourceful, and they loved and cared for the land.

By the way, it's already November, and we've been in school for 8 weeks.  I can't believe how much we've learned and how fast the time is flying!

Thanks for visiting today!

  1. What a fun presentation on endangered animals! I love doing things like that because it's as if a field trip comes to you. No forms, busses, chaperones, or frantic counting of groups over and over again. Seriously the best kind of "field trip!" I am a new follower, I found you through Doodle Bugs link up!
