Five For Friday For First Of July!

It's Friday which means it's time to link up with Doodle Bugs for:

Even though the kids' last day was last Friday, teachers' last day of school was this past Monday.  I wanted to share my last day of school Morning Message:

That last day with the kids flew by!  We had Move-Up Day so while my students were visiting the 4th grade teachers, current 2nd graders were visiting the third grade teachers. 

On Monday, my brother and his family dropped off Sparty -  their 6 month old Bernese Mountain Dog for me to dog sit until Sunday:

Sparty may be a puppy, but he weighs close to 70 pounds.  Gabi weighs about the same and is 9 years old.  Consequently, she has little patience for a puppy.  I do like Gabi's strategy - she just ignores Sparty no matter what (unless he tries to nose in while she drinking or eating).  I want to be more like Gabi when someone is bothering me!

Tuesday, I spent the day preparing for my colonoscopy on Wednesday.  I got a clean bill of health and don't need to return for 5 years.  By the way, this was my 4th colonoscopy.  I'm considered high risk as my mother died of colon cancer at age 64:

Today (Friday) my husband scheduled his office party at our house.  After all, I am on vacation so it's a perfect time to invite all these people over for a barbecue.
