We had a dress rehearsal for the school and a concert for the parents for Veterans Day.  The kids did a beautiful job singing the song choices:

Thanks to Devin's Mom for forwarding a picture to me!

We have been very busy learning about the Water Cycle.  I found a new song on Pinterest that I incorporated into our Morning Meeting:

Here's my completed anchor chart on the same topic:

We're working on a new round of centers.  In the Listening Center, we're reading the book, The Littlest Pumpkin, by R.A. Herman.  For Word Work, we're learning about synonyms and reviewing complete sentences.  For the Math centers, one is Xtramath, and the other is task cards.

We read this fun book - Tad and Dad - by author David Ezra Stein.  Here's a page from the book:

This is a great book for onomatopeia, and it's very humorous.  It's definitely worth checking out!  Click here to read more on Amazon.

Friday afternoon we had an assembly about saving energy from Eversource.  The kids LOVED it because the actors really hammed it up and encouraged plenty of audience participation.

I'm so happy that you visited today!  Have a wonderful week!
