Tried It Tuesday - I'm always up for trying something new!

Another Linky Party started by:

I found another Linky party, and I have discovered how to change the background of my blog.  (if you check often, you'll notice that I'm changing the template - practice make perfect - I want to make sure I remember how to do this.)

I've tried 2 different web sites that offer free templates:

http://leelou-blogs.com/

and

 http://www.blogdesignsbydani.com/search/label/All%20Free%20Backgrounds

Once you find the template you like, you save the code and enter in the layout page - add a gadget - section of your blog.

I'm still on the fence about buying a custom template, but in the meantime, I'm having fun trying out different templates.

I would love to hear your opinions on the pros and cons of having a custom blog design.

Thanks, Susan

  1. I had a custom blog design made because I know I would have spent countless hours trying to figure out how to get my design just right. I had no idea what I was doing and just wanted to start blogging! Your blog looks great and I am so impressed with your layers on the sides!! Thanks for linking up!

    1. Thanks, Cheryl and Sarah for the kind words. I must admit that I'm loving this summer-themed background A LOT so I'm planning on leaving this background on for more than one day. Susan
