Wonderful Wednesday!

I just wanted to check in to tell you that my students are really LOVING learning about Braille.

This is the 3rd year that we've been in our new school, and there are signs in Braille all over the school.  I am showing the kids my flipchart about Braille, and now they are noticing/remembering when they see Braille.

Here is a picture of a pair of Braille dice:

On the PBSkids web site, there are also some Braille activities that you can check out here:

The kids type in something in English, and it will be translated into Braille.

This web site also has LOTS of fun and interesting Braille activities:

Remember:  January is National Braille Literacy month!
