A Peek at my Wonderful Week!

It's Sunday night which means it's time to link-up with Jennifer from Mrs. Laffin's Laughings to take a peek at the wonderful week ahead.

Reading/Social Studies

We'll be reading and learning about Martin Luther King, Jr. next week.  I have several books to read, including Martin's Big Words by Doreen Rappaport.

I also purchased this unit from TPT that we'll be using to write about Dr. King, our dreams and our own big words.  You can check it out here if you're still looking for more MLK material:

Math

Next week we'll be doing double duty in Math by practicing word problems and multiplication.  We'll be having a timed test on our 4X facts and moving onto the 3X.

More Giveaways
I just LOVE entering giveaways.  It's kind of like buying lottery tickets - except you just spend time filling out rafflecopters - instead of spending money.  Now I've discovered a whole page of opportunities over at Teacher's Notebook:

All the giveaways are on one page so you can pick and choose which ones to enter.  I've always been a TPT person so Teacher's Notebook is new to me.  Do any of you have a preference for one over the other?

Time to Retire Gabi the Dog's Patriot's Shirt

We've been having so much fun dressing up our dog in her Patriot's shirt, but it's time to pack up the shirt until next football season.  I don't think my dog will complain.

My husband and son were quite sad to take the shirt off the dog - even though I think she breathed a sigh of relief.
