Where in the world has the week gone?

Today, I'm linking up with Digital: Divide and Conquer and Third Grade Galore to tell about a win, a loss, and a thing of cost.

Win = Loss!  I actually lost 1.6 pounds this week!  I FINALLY lost some weight.  It was a lot of work to lose this weight, but I'm going to keep at it.  Also, here's what we talked about at the Weight Watchers' meeting:

I'm so excited to include this reminder - especially for any of my students who may still read my blog.  It's so important to get good sleep.  I know when I'm tired, I have to have a special treat to give myself energy - sad, but true.  In the meeting, the leader talked about how when you don't sleep enough, it means that you're awake more = you're eating more.  Of course, I've been waking up at 5:30 this week to get to my class, and that alarm is very happy to wake me up - it truly is a very rude awakening.

A Thing of Cost.  The weather has been absolutely perfect, and I've been stuck in my class so I'm missing out on enjoying the beautiful weather.  I miss being on vacation.

It's a short post this week because being in class = using my brain in different ways.  This is a good thing because I do like math - I just like being outside in the summer much more.

  2. That is a great Win=Cost! congrats! I couldn't agree more about the sleep too. I've found that is so effective for me...and sometimes too much sleep makes me feel even worse.

I can't believe you've started school already! I've got less than two weeks to go

    thanks

  4. Nicely done on the weight loss! You need to keep us up to date so we can keep supporting you. I'm sorry you are back in the classroom, but I'm guessing you will finish before we do. Thanks for linking up.

  5. You stopped by my blog the other day when I asked about having a calendar in your room. I bought one and already have it up. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by. Also, congrats on the weight loss. I have been workingout for over a month and have lost nothing.
